Hunting: Buffalo

THE RANCH HAS ITS OWN HERD OF BUFFALO which roam across 2,000 acres and numbers about 500 head. During the end of December and the first part of January we allow the harvest of two to five trophy-quality bulls. These bulls are between the ages of five and 10 years and average approximately 2,000 pounds each. With each hunt, you will receive the head for mounting, the hide primed for mounting and tanning, and 200 pounds of meat. The meat from the trophy bulls will all be ground to buffaloburger, and your meat package will include buffaloburger plus steaks and roasts from one of our younger bulls. Each year we process our two-year old bulls for consumption at the ranch and for sale to the public. NON-HUNTER FEE	$150 per day

Our Guided Buffalo Hunting Packages includes lodging and meals at Prairie Sky Ranch.

Also, please note that for all our stay packages:

• A 25% deposit reserves your space at the ranch. Deposits are non-refundable.
  
• Airport pickup and delivery can be arranged for $150 per trip ($300 round trip).
  
• South Dakota sales tax of 5% will be added to the total bill.
  
• Guide and staff gratuities are not included.
  
• Processing fee for caping, skinning and quartering the carcass: $150.00
